14 mth old anterior dislocation right 9th rib

19 yo male with 14 month old injury to right anterior rib cage s/p MVA. Visible flaring of right 9th rib anteriorly and slighltly laterally with contraction of upper abdominal muscles. Patient receives some relief with kinesiotaping of region, and I ordered a rib support to prevent repetitive flaring of rib. Any other advice for conservative treatment?
