"Pulled" hamstring

i was doing some stretching and following up w/a kempo workout - i had a pop for lack of a better description and felt some discomfort - there is not any real pain just discomfort - feels uncomfortable when i bend over to lightly stretch the leg - doesn't hurt when i walk - no swelling - i just know that it can hurt at times - i know it's not right - what would be the recommendation for recovery - ice,heat combo - some type of ointment (tiger balm, etc) - thanks for any information or advise to remedy this as quickly as possible
