i also am in the same situation

shattered tib/fib & clavical on 10/8 in a motorcycle racing accident & am carrying 2 plates ankle to knee & over 30 screws

since i got the cast off it has been hydrotherapy every day & am now starting to walk a few steps on my own with no assistance

now ialong with hydro i am doing gym work everyday & PT 3 days a week

most of the exercise i do is stregthening & rebuilding the muscle i lost.

now i am working on balance as this is an essential part of my sport
