Most likely it's due to the walking boot. Are you doing ankle pumps? Take your foot out of the boot during the day and pump your foot up and down at the ankle....that's if your doc says that's ok to do. The pumping action of your calf muscle should help pump the edema out of your leg. Elevate your leg as much as you can throughout the day...above your heart is laying down and elevating your leg up on a pillow.
