Ring Figer won't bend

I fractured my ring finger on Decenber 10, 07...about7 weeks ago.
I have been using a splint since. The first joint of the finger does not bend.

I just had an x-ray yesterday and it seems it is healing.

The question is... do I start some type of therapy now, or do I wait till the bone is healed? Will it be too late.

What is the best type of home theraphy?

thank you so much for helping.

Silicone inserts leave radius and ulna pressure-free and provide intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint, leading to increased circulation, thus aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema.
