Sit-ups: Just bring shoulders off the ground and do more reps.
I was an avid body builder and blew the bottom disk.
This has kept me from lifting any weight with my back.
Be very careful lifting ... ALWAYS!
Doc says back injuries take a while to heal!
Well I guess so, mine is still bad after 25 years.
