hip soreness. lower back laterally

Hi,

I have been having this hip pain in the side of my left gluteal area and along my left side of the lower back- perhaps my Q.L area. My post tib in the the left leg is sore and as well as my right. This has been going for 8 months. And my p,t said icing, and no frontal plane movements. i stayed of stair climibing and running. But still no improvement. because of my job i am on my feet a lot, standing or walking. Any idea what this could be. I have a feeling this is my piriformis, but another P.T said i should do stretching, and not do any squats and lunges for a while..
