Physical Therapy after broken scaphoid

What are the recommended forms of physical therapy after a broken scaphoid? Wrist was broken over 2 1/2 months ago and the cast was taken off 2 weeks ago. When I do push-ups, it feels like the palm of my hand is very bruised. I am stretching the wrist, but my range of motion doesn't allow me to pull the fingers back, as in a push-up position.

Thanks,
Rick Clark
