I would like to buy a treadmill and I am researching which treadmill to buy. My main concern is the shock absorption of the treadmill. I have heard people say that running ruins the knees. I would not choose not to run because I heard this, but I am concerned about the shcok abosrption of the treadmill which I am going to buy.
I saw that sears has a NordicTrack Treadmill, C2255 on sale for $699. I also went to GymSource and looked at a True PS300, a True 5, and a true 5.4 for a lot more money, and also a Cybex for thousands of dollars. I am interested in knowing whether if I spend a lot more money if I am going to get better shock absorption. I am also interested in knowing how the shock absorption of those treadmills compare to each other.
Is there a rating system for the shock abosorption of different treadmills? Is it important for me to look for shock absorption in treamills?
Thank you so much.
