dancer four weeks out with a liz franks foot

i have stumped my docs with an injury that isn't improving despite weight off and a constant ice/elevate regimen. i'm a dancer and dance instructor by trade and my entire life is on hold until this thing is diagnosed and healed. the last doc said something to the effect of "that's what a liz franks foot looks like" to another doc in the room after another round of fracture screens turned out negative, but their continuing advice to me was stay off it and come back in two weeks. "wait and see" feels like a death sentence for dancer. i've looked up liz franks online and stories of pins, surgery, misdiagnoses, and lengthy healing times are devastatingly frightening. any advice/information you can offer on either liz franks or how to be more proactive in my healing process would be much appreciated.

Pro-Tec Athletics' J-Lat Knee Support helps guide the patella back into proper alignment with gentle pressure from the lateral to medial direction. Compression surrounding the patella will help keep it in the patella-femoral groove.
