broken fibula

ok so i was skydiving the other day and i had a not so great landing into some tall grass, under the grass was a slope into a creek and i think i rolled my ankle which resulted in a spiral fracture of the lower fibula. it is not seperated by much more than a hair on the xray. i have horizonal brusing allong the outside of my heal which conserns me, what is the brusing from and is that a bad sign? i see an ortho dude in like 6 days or so when i get back from my trip. btw my foot has a brace on it and is immobilized untill then. is there anything i can do to speed up the healing process or foods i should eat that would help it?
