Safe to run if I have knock-knees

I'm 19, 5'10 and weigh around a 130 lbs . I have a mild knock knee condition. I like running and the condition has never really bothered me during my runs but I am afraid that it might not be good for my knees in the longer run . Is it possible that regular , prolonged stress on my knees could make my condition worse later in life ?
