Can a non PT own a PT Practice

Hi anyone,

I have a friend who is a PT and my background is business(MBA). I would like to know if this is possible. I want to rent space from a Physician, the physician refers to my friend who is the PT. I pay the the rent to Physician and my friend who is the PT pays me certain fee every month. I would like to get some advice on this.
