Re: Olecranon fracture

To: Physical Therapist
I was playing tennis and fell and fx my
R Olecranon on Oct 20 2009. Had a Long cast
for 6 weeks...and now have had PT for 2 months.
I am unable at this point to straighten my arm completely or touch my shoulder (need 2 inches)
Beginning to make a almost normal fist.
I can flex my hand down but not back too much.

I wanted to know if you can suggest some exercises.

The Simply Stable VOS, valgus overload stabilizer elbow brace is designed to help control valgus overload stresses during functional overhead motions. The overhead motions associated with throwing, tennis and volleyball put a tremendous stress on the elbow joint and ulnar collateral ligament (UCL).
