L/Shoulder

AM a mail carrier. Injured l/shoulder in 2008 while working, had surgery in 2008 and again in 2009. Now I am in more pain then when I first injured it, why? Also whenever the muscles/tendons get stress/tight the shoulder will squeak whenever I move it. My ortho doc has no ideal what this is. Sometimes it just causes more pain, other times it gives me like a electrical shock. What is the reason for this? Also, should I seek a different line of work other then being a mailman since it is a repetitive motion job? Please Help.
