tibial plateau fracture

Dear Mr/Mrs,
I got my tibial plateau fracture fixed with a plate and 4 screws half a year ago. I'm walking normally and the motion is good, but I'm experiencing pain especially while on stairs. My OS tells that I possibly need another operation (remove the plate? or check if there is some tissue in the joint and remove it as it causes inflammation?). Is there any alternative?...I don't have any improvement for 3 months...passed through physical therapy already...
Thanks a lot, Olga.

The medical grade mineral oil released from the gel onto the skin also helps to soften dry skin and to reduce scar tissue by improving the mobility and elasticity of the skin after scarring.
