Sciatic and Pirriformis

I used to exercise every day, 30 mins threadmill, 1 hour bike, last December I started filling stiffness in my right leg, pain grows till I have pain in my groin area, I just can't cross my right leg over the left one, pain just unbearable. 2 weeks ago I started with some stretching and I am feeling a lot better, it hurts but not that much, I want to exercise again, will bike and threadmill make it worst again?; are there any specific exercise for my condition? Please advise, thank you.
