Temporary loss of control of knees

I am overweight - so I am sure that is part of the cause, but soemtimes when I take off in a dead sprint (which doesn't happen much) I lose temporary control of my knees. They become all wobbly, and I basically have to go where my body weight takes me, or fall down. It lasts about 20 seconds or so...The first time I notced it was about 10 years playing football, and has proably only happend abotu 8 times in my life, but then again, I don't take off in a sprint all that often. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Each Universal Patella Stabilizer comes with a donut and horseshoe shaped buttress. These buttresses can be trimmed to customize the patellar support.
