Ankle burning during workout

I broke my ankle 3 years ago and had to have a plate and 8 screw put in it. For the last year I have been walking on the treadmill but continue to have trouble with my ankle. Within 5 minutes of starting to walk at 3 to 3.5 miles per hour with no incline my ankle begins to burn severely. I have tried wrapping it, warm it, inserts in my athlete shoes, nothing helps. I'm frustrated because I can't increase the length or speed of my work out. What can I do?

For Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis). The silicone insert fits next to the skin. The insert stabilizes the muscles and apply force to relieve epicondylitis.
