Broken ankle/fibula healing time

Hi it has been 1 year since i broke my ankle/fibula and still get pain and some swelling when i am on it to long. I also get numbness in one of my toes only since i did the break and havent got my range of movment back in it so stuggle to do any running. In my job role i am meant to teach classes but am unable to. Is there anything you could surgest that will improve the healing or are these problems i will have due to the break.
