Re: Femoral neck stress fracture

I have been diagnosed with a femoral neck stress fracture (running for about 8 months) My original orthopedist told me to be non-weightbearing for 4-6 weeks until a follow-up MRI. A second opinion told me full weight-bearing with some easy exercising as I have no pain with full weightbearing. I have been full weight bearing at times but attempting to use and crutches to maintaining partial weightbearing. Who's advice should I be follow?
