forearm pain

I have had pain and soreness in the forearm for at least 2 months. Whole of forearm effected. First came on quite quickly whilst swimming crawl. Struggle now to swim25 metres. Usually swim 2 - 3K. Painfull when driving, pulling and similar exercise, awareness at rest. Has anyone experienced anything similar? What could this be and what could be done for this.
