Cervical spondulitis symptoms and cure

Hi,
Would cervical spondulitis result in
- severe pain in the right hand from shoulder unto wrists?
- feeling of numbness (not loss of sensation; but the same feeling as when hands/legs "go to sleep" if kept in same position for very long periods of time ).

If true, is there any medicinal cure for this? Is PT the only cure?

Thanks
aahana
