Osgood Schlatters

Hello,
I was diagnosed when I was 12 with OS and was told that it would go away in time (after I had finished growing). However, I am now 36 and I continue to have the same symptoms now that I had then. I have just recently started running and playing racquetball on a regular basis when my "relapse" occurred. I am in the military and will be seeing my doctor tomorrow regarding this problem but I was wondering your take on this. Is it still possible that I could be, at my age, still having OS related problems? Thanks.
