Re: strained mcl

I recently strained my tricep using 8 pound weights to do crossovers in an effort to build up my arms for batting. I play 3rd base and have been trying to throw less hard but still make the play. I am taking ibuprofen and heating it once per day. I also ice it after I practice. It doesn't hurt when I bat...just throw. What else can I do...should I take a week or two off? My Doctor says it is a sprain and to do anything that doesn't hurt. Any suggestions?
