Re: Chin Splints

What are chin splints. My sons having pain in his chin due to running track. His track coach has told him to stay off his feet and ice his chins every 2 hrs 20min at a time. Is this the correct remendy? How long should it take to feel better. Will he damage to continue to run if possible?
