Re: sprained ankle or torn ligament

My son has sprained his ankle several times, but this one seems worse. First Doctor took x-rays and said torn tendon and ankle not setting correct, then referred us to orthepedic. This Doctor said, x-rays looked fine and just pulled ligements.{I think he said pulled and not torn?]He put him in a cast for a week, but the pain has worsened. He badly wants to get back on the court before Districts in 2 weeks.
