Rolled ankle

I rolled my ankle playing basketball about five days ago. It started feeling better very quickly, I was walking on it three days after. But 5 days after, I started to have severe pain/pressure in the ankle after periods of sitting down. So much pain I could barely put any pressure on it at all. After about 2 minutes of standing, the pressure seemed to drain out and it felt fine. Can you please tell me why this may be happening. Thank you

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
