tib/fib fracture complication

following tib/fib fracture 13 years ago I was casted improperly for over 6 months. The result is that I still to this day cannot place my heel on the floor. This means that I am constantly limping and no longer can participate in many of the athletic endeavors I once enjoyed. Can someone please help me?
