No ankle movement

Hi, I broke the mid shaft of my right tibia in july. The doctor put a rod and screws in it. I got an X-ray about a month ago and it was still not completely healed, do you know why this is? I also have very limited movement in my ankle, Im not sure why, the doctor says it is soft tissue but i have been going to physio for atleast 4 months and they say that it is the tib/fib joint and they dont know what to do. Im more concerned about the ankle because im only 18 and I have pain from this and I can hardly do a squat. When I do go to physio a little movement comes back after alot of stetching then it is gone a little while later. What should I do?
