Re: Painful Hip "Catch"
I have developed a "catch" in my left hip. It started as a sharp pain on my upper thigh (similar to a charlie horse) when I would get up in the morning. By stretching my leg to the back and slightly twisting, there would be a "pop" and the pain would be gone.
Now, I get the pain after getting up from a chair, getting out of the car, almost anytime I have been sitting for awhile. It is coming more frequently and I can no longer get rid of it by stretching the leg.
When the pain is there, walking is painful and I have very limited motion with that leg. Eventually, it works itself out and the pain diminishes.
I there any permanent cure for this?
