Torn Hamstring Post ACL Recon

I am into the 6th week after surgery and have torn my hamstring twice. The first one was a micro tear on the belly of the muscle and the other was a huge pop at the back of my knee, severe pain worse the the knee injury!! I still can not straighten it and am experiancing pain is all movement. It has improved stlightly being on the 7th day. I am worried i am going to have this problem for ever.. I have been trying to move it but i am scared it will tear more.. I did see the surgeon and he said it is a severe tear but did not tell me what i can do about it.. Is there anything i can do without the fret of injuring again?
Is ultrasound treatment the only way to go?
