torn right bicep

had surgery three weeks ago and hsve hsd a good amount of pain this week. took a two day car ride about 5 hours and cold & damp. I am i pushing it? What of pain should I feel and where?
Fitted with a bicep brace. Taking some pain meds. at night only. A dull aching pain in fore arm towards elbow.
