sharp pains, hard to adjust

I have been having these sharp, excruiating pain and stabs in my groin area, for the past 15 years. If I am laying down and go to get up, I sometimes cant stand up right away, I have to ease myself up. If I am driving and I have been sitting, I go to stand and I cant, I am hunched over, until the pain goes away. If I am playing with my dogs, and I start to feel a pull when I stand up, I have to take my time and stretch my legs out. The chiropractor I saw made it go away for 2 days, but was back and it is really painful. What can I do to try to find out what is going on. The MRI I had found nothing. Thanks
Kristin
