exercises for stiffened fingers/forearm

I fractured my right ring finger almost a year ago. It was put in a simple “popsicle-stick” splint, strapped to my pinky. That didn't work, so was given a cast for 4 wks. Was then unable to move the fingers on my right hand properly, esp. ring and pinky fingers. I went to physio therapy for some time and regained most (not all) of the mobility. They still only bend up until a certain point and then stop. Most of the time this isn’t too much of a problem.
However, I played a bit of volley-ball the other day and though it didn't hurt at the time, it is now very painfull to bend them, to write or even wash my hair. I also have pain down the side of my hand from the base of my pinky through to my elbow. I have also noticed (before the volleyball) that those fingers are more sensitive to heat, and also stiffen in my air-conditioned office.

I would like to be able to play sports and not have to worry about my hand stiffening and causing pain afterwards. What exercises can you recommend to get my hand back to normal? Thanks!
