Re: itchy legs

I would just like to start off by saying that the way Allyson Finch described the intensity of the itchy legs was perfect! The first line in particular made me chuckle because I was in the exact same scenario this past weekend.

I was walking a trail with my man friend and I started getting that drive-you-insane itch in my legs. I wanted to scratch SO bad but I knew it would only make it itch worse! He was trying to joke with me but I just wanted to tell him to SHUT UP so I could focus on not freaking out!

This has been happening to me ever since I can remember, and not just with walking. I go to a cardio kickboxing class and it happens there sometimes too. I've always had thick legs and I concluded that it had something to do with the circulation due to my legs jiggling.

Things I've noticed so far about my itchy legs are:

1. It seems to happen more when it's cold. I don't recall it ever happening when, say, hiking on a hot day.

2. The more I scratch, the more it itches.

3. NOTHING makes it go away except for time.

Glad to know I'm not alone! :-)

Silicone inserts leave the epicondyle pressure-free and provide an intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint, leading to increased circulation, thus aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema.
