Re: itchy legs

I have this same problem too. The diagnosis/solution has elluded me and my doctors for so long, I almost gave up hope.

I do actually work out but have tailored my workouts to NOT include any walking or running because of the itching and pain. Once, I walked to our local supermarket (.75 miles away) and got stuck because it came on so badly that I couldn't make it home.

Look up Cholinergic Urticaria. After some research and talking to the allergist, we believe this MAY be at least an explanation for this problem. Unfortunately, the antihistamines for treatment make me too sleepy to run.

Hope this helps. Not that the treatment does anything but at least it's nice to have an understanding of what is actually happening. For years, I thought I was allergic to sweating.
