Questions concerning becoming a physical therapist

Hello my name is Denise. I wanted to know could you do just 4 years of college and become a physical therpist? What is the starting salary of a beginner? Do the instructors go through step by step procedures so that you may be able to understand? Was it hard for you? Do you think I may be able to learn more easier, if I read and study the material that I'm given? In order to be a PT, do you have to go through clinical time or will it all be written work that will have to be completed?
