Re: partially torn quadricep tendon

I fell off my roof about 2 months ago. I went to the Emergency room where they took xrays and the doctor told me that I did not break or tear anything. I'm sure her diagnosis was wrong. There was tons of swelling over my knee and it hasn't looked right since. I'm slowing gaining strength back. I'm almost sure that I partially tore mine. It gets better every week so I'm not going in to see a doctor yet. If it was a bad tear I would be able to lift my leg while sitting down...so I'm not too worried yet.

: Could someone please answer;
: I have just been diagnosed with a partially ruptured quadricep tendon. I did this skiing over a month ago and had no pain nor mobility problems. I am not limited in any way except a Knot on the top of my knee. I have done some mild running and did ski once and went hiking also. Am I at risk of completely rupturing this? I asked an orthopedic surgeon and he just said if it was bothering me in a month then come see him. Has anyone out there had this? I would greatly appreciate it
