Osgood-Shlatters Disease

Hi - I think my son may have Osgood -Shlatters disease. He is having terrible pain in his hips, and it cripples him. He cannot walk when it happens, and the pain debilitates him. Could you give me more info on the disease and how I can help him. Thank you - Todd
