Re: NEUROTHOPY

My mother does not have diabetes but I was wondering if you could possibly have neurothopy without having diabetes. She has very thick yellowed toe nails on her left foot. Her foot keeps going numb and she has a shooting pain that often goes up her leg and sometimes her leg goes out and she falls. Her foot has recently started turning a darker pink and swelling a little. She is 5 feet and weighs 83 lbs. 72 years old. I'm quite sure she has a fungus, but could it be more?
