Warts are predictibly unpredictable. They do not respond to any treatment universally. If they did, we would all treat them the same way!

Yes it is possible that the warts are the cause of your discomfort. They press on underlying nerves in the dermis. I am not aware of Tea tree oil being useful for wart treatment. There are some homeopathic remedies that can be tried, if that is your preference. Thuja and Antimonium are used for warts. I have also tried oral Tagamet. It works better on kids, though
