Re: Ankle fusion

:
I had a compound fracture of my right ankle 47 years ago from a motorcycle accident.
I started having pain in 1999 and the Orthopaedic Dr. did an arthroscopic procedure to get rid of the spurs and remove the loose cartilage. No more pain until 2003. Did a ankle fusion. Went well for 6 months and then did a revision of the fusion. Put larger pins in my ankle. A month later, extreme pain set in. Now I need a subtalor fusion. Hopefully that will take care of the problem and I can play golf again.

wish me luck,
Joe

Malleoloc for lateral ankle instability - Designed to prevent inversion and eversion, Malleoloc does not restrict plantar and dorsiflexion. Lightweight and streamlined. Excellent for sports use. Easily fits in shoe.
