Re: broken knee cap
I broke my kneecap on 5/9/07(as the doc said - it exploded) The toe of my shoe got caught in some broken sidewalk and I feel straight down on my knee. I too had surgery w/ pins and wires. Therapy started around 6 wks post op. I'm at about 3 1/2 months post op now - my ROM is about 115 degrees. I'm still experiencing weakness at time (feeling like my knee will just pop out while I'm walking). Therapist says I'm at about the end of my ROM. I'm not happy about that, but I'm still chugging along! Best of luck w/ your recovery!
