unbelievable,hi im james ,i am 28 years old, i broke my right humerous 7 weeks ago ,it was a spiral fracture, and i was also in a cast for 3 1/2 weeks and have been in the american football style brace ever since then , from my most recent xray last week i found that my bones havent formed in any way yet also so you are not alone.i am told this is a rather unusual break [i broke mine arm wrestling by the way]it is more commonly associated with older women [no offence]but women over 60 are more prone to these injuries .dont worry about your arm not straitening ,thats because your arm has been in asling for almost 2 months ,you will get that back to normal with phsyio,as i am trying to at the moment myself.i too wondered if i should of had the op,i mentioned this to my doctor [who isnt a nice 1 like yours]he said in a aggravated manner that all the op would do would just bring the bones closer together it will not help them grow and that the cast does the job of that.im worried also as i am a personal trainer,any way good luck ,i will keep my fingers crossed for us
