Wow! So many posts for so many years--I thought I was alone with this problem! Ice is the only thing I have found that can calm down the intense itch on my left forearm. I, too, have tried many creams, etc. It comes and goes--could be related to stress, I think. Also, I have had some thyroid problems. It is supposedly normal now, but the return of this itch makes me think I should have my thyroid levels tested again.
