I have had the "maddening itching" on and off for 14 years. The last year it has been relentless, day & night. Ice is the only relief. Since I have depression & anxiety issued anyway I just accepted it when my Dr. (whom I trust) said it was psychological, real, but caused by anxiety. Now I am on more "psych" meds than I need, & it doesn't help at all. This is my first day of research, and the accounts I have read are very encouraging. There may be relief in sight! As for now, frozen veggies are better than ice.
