: i seperated my a/c joint in nov. and the last 3 weeks i have an excruciating upper back pain(burning).i am a hair stylist and hold my arms up and about 1:00pm everyday my upper back, between my shoulder blades is so painful i have to stop what i am doing.i've been doing hair for about 15 years. the only relief i get is when i'm sitting with a heating pad or in bed.any ideas?theresa hughes

Strange that it seems everyone has the pain more on the left side! I have the burn as well, I have an appointment with a back specialist next Monday. I have been told it may be Facet Syndrome, I have done all the exercises I can handle and it don't work. Stay tuned......I'll update after my apointment.
