I, like everyone else, am sooooo relieved to see that I'm not the only person who has this problem and, so, maybe I'm not crazy afterall. I am sorry, though, that anyone else has to endure this. Mine is on both arms, upper and lower and has been doing it for about 3 years now, as far as I can remember. It seems like it occurs in the spring through fall and I literally scratch the skin right off of my arms. I have not tried ice so I'll give that whirl and hope it helps. I read on another site today that Hepatitis C can cause itching and I've had that so am considering that as a possible cause. I'm due to go to a dermatologist in August but I don't really hold alot of hope. I go, fairly regularly, to a chiropractor but I don't think it's related to my spine. I also have a crazy, iritating feel in my shin area when they're touched/and when bending down. That started somewhere in the same time frame as the itching. Does anyone else have that? I went to an orthopedic doctor for both about a year ago and he just looked at me like, "what are you doing here". Creams are minimal help and claritin/benedryl help alittle, I think. Mine can happen at any time of the day or night and don't seem to follow any rhyme or reason. I started to keep a journal to see if I can find a commone denominator but am not too faithful at keeping the journal. I'm starting to feel the itchin alittle in my right hand these last couple of days and it scares me.

Pro-Tec Athletics' J-Lat Knee Support helps guide the patella back into proper alignment with gentle pressure from the lateral to medial direction. Compression surrounding the patella will help keep it in the patella-femoral groove.
