I have been experiencing this mind-numbing itching for about 10 years now. Only over the past year have I found someone with a useful suggestion to control this insanity. I have seen a naturopathic doctor who suggested Psorinoheel. After trying it orally (which is the recommendation), I began to use a few drops directly on the itching areas of my arms and have found that more often than not, it works!! Just recently it has been classified Rx only, but we've all been the route of physicians anyway. Occasionally, I have had to "dose" myself a few times in a row, but it's just a few drops, and the relief is worth it many times over!!!!
